Isabella comforted Cinda for a few moments.
Cinda finally breathed a sigh of relief, then brought a cup of honey water to Isabella, saying, "Drink some honey water. You're pregnant and it's good for your stomach."
Isabella reluctantly took it. An hour ago, she had teased Cinda for using the baby as an excuse to make her eat all kinds of fruits.

Cinda's words were something Isabella had thought about more than once.

At night, a tall, upright figure stood under the faculty building of Evergreen City University. Evergreen City had already entered winter.
Although it hadn't started snowing yet, the temperature at night had dropped below freezing.
The sky outside darkened quickly, and there were hardly any people on the streets.
Yet the man stood downstairs, staring coldly in the direction of the intersection.
He was waiting for someone.
His brother, Nolan.
As time passed, he lit a cigarette, slowly exhaling, waiting for Nolan to appear.
Twenty minutes later, a white business car approached from the opposite side, its glaring headlights shining on Michael. The car braked.
The driver quickly got out, and before he could retrieve the wheelchair, he was startled by Michael standing not far away.
How could this person look so much like his employer, Nolan?
The only difference was that one was dressed in white, the other in black.
It was like a contrast, but their faces were very similar.

If he let go slightly, the wheelchair would slide back.
Just when he thought he was going to fall, a force firmly held the wheelchair and pushed it to the first floor.
From behind, it was Michael's cold face.
Before he could say thank you, Michael coldly rejected him, "No need, I just don't want to waste time!"
Nolan pressed his lips together. Perhaps this was their most common way of interacting.
They entered the door in silence.
Nolan untied his tie and buttons. After a busy day, he was very tired.

"Nolan, you should be clear about my relationship with Isabella. We haven't divorced!"
Michael no longer called Nolan brother, showing how deep his hostility was.
Nolan's eyes darkened, but he responded, "Yes, I know."
Michael coldly curled his lips, "And you know she's pregnant with my child?"
This time, Nolan was stunned.
He slowly unbuttoned his cuffs, trying to calm his emotions.
After a moment, he spoke, "Michael, what exactly do you want to say? Just say it, there's no need for this between us!"
"You can't guess what I wanna say? At this point, you still want to pretend you don't know?"
Michael's words became sharper, "As Isabella's elder, you repeatedly met her privately without her being divorced, and acted intimately with her."
"Nolan, aren't you afraid that these scandals will spread online and you'll be laughed at by everyone?"
