Adrian Sinclair shook off Noah Watson's restraining hand.

"Why did she break up with me back then?"
Julian Garnache stumbled from the force of being shoved aside.
He looked toward Noah.
Noah gave a bitter smile and shook his head.
There was no stopping the CEO's sudden outburst.
Julian moved to intervene.
But Mia raised a hand to stop him.
"Julian, don't."
"I've wanted to say this for a long time."
Julian frowned and sat back down.
His hands clenched secretly.
If Adrian dared to get violent, he would step in immediately.

"Her mother was tricked into debt back then."

He released her.

Her voice choked. "So she had to break up."
"She took her mother and hid far away."
"All because she was afraid of dragging you down."
