"Is the Koo residence not good enough for you?" His voice turned icy. "The Moss family would skin you alive if they could. Why would they gift you a property?"
"True," Thorn Yen chuckled. "If not for me, Aurora Moss wouldn't be living her extravagant life abroad."
The Moss family's political ties restricted them domestically. Overseas, Aurora Moss indulged in luxury, changing designer items more frequently than clothes.

"To broaden your horizons," he sneered. "Selling out your husband for a fourth-ring property? Impressive, Thorn Yen."
True to his word, he took her to elite real estate showings, luxury car galleries, and high-end jewelry boutiques.
Staring at a seven-figure diamond ring, Thorn Yen suddenly asked, "Can I take it after the divorce?"
"Are you a gold digger?" Blake Koo gritted his teeth.
She closed the catalog. "If I can't keep it, this is a waste of time."
A nearby sales associate broke into a cold sweat, fearing the deal would collapse.

The two gossiping girls startled.
"Reed Tsui is marrying Aurora Moss?" Thorn Yen's voice tightened.
"None of your business," one girl muttered.
Thorn Yen smirked. "I'm the 'unworthy wife' you're talking about."
She stormed out, fingers trembling as she dialed Reed Tsui's number.
"You're marrying Aurora Moss?" Her tone was terrifyingly calm.
