Outside the security door, Sebastian Valdemar's leather shoes sank soundlessly into the plush carpet. He'd come to discuss a PR statement with Evelyn Roland—only to stumble upon this scene.

"You're terminated." Alexander's voice could have frozen hell.

Sebastian's lips curved by the door. Such absolute trust was...unusual.
