Evelyn reopened her laptop without glancing up. "Congratulations. Best of luck."

At Valdemar Group headquarters, Sebastian Valdemar scrolled through the competition website. Celadon's entry "Stellar River" dominated the leaderboard, votes tripling the runner-up.

He enlarged the design. A spark of admiration flickered in his eyes.

"Theodore," Sebastian pressed the intercom, "contact Celadon. Name her price."

Dylan Orlando nearly choked on his coffee when the call came.

"Valdemar Group?" His eyes widened. "Sebastian Valdemar wants to sign Celadon?"

He burst into Evelyn's office, slamming a recorder on her desk.

"Boss! Sebastian's trying to poach you!" He gesticulated wildly. "Seven-figure salary! Stock options!"

Evelyn twirled a pen between her fingers, amusement glinting in her gaze.

"He has taste."

"Do we accept?" Dylan rubbed his hands. "Perfect chance to infiltrate Valdemar!"

Beyond the windows, the sunset gilded the city skyline. Evelyn tilted her head, the pen executing a graceful spin.
