Noticing that he was wear nothing at all, Ye Xingguang blushed and said, “Put on my sleeping clothes.”
Ye Junqing ignored her.
With her eyes darting everywhere but him, Ye Xingguang asked, “You won’t put it on, really?”

Grabbing a pillow, Ye Xingguang threw it at him, shrieking, “Get out!”
Catching the pillow, Ye Junqing stared at her with his deep, icy eyes, “Do you actually expect me to leave like this?”
“I gave you my pajamas, and you refused to wear them. How is that my problem?”
Having said this, Ye Xingguang yanked the door open, but Ye Junqing immediately grasped her hand, exclaiming, “I’m not leaving!”
“I’m not leaving!” he repeated.
“If you’re not leaving, then I am. Let me go!”

Furious and exasperated, Ye Xingguang, pointing at her clothes ruined by him, retorted, “I was merely going to get you a clean shirt from my dad’s room. It was only because Li Yu had nowhere to sleep that I let him use the guest room. Can your mind stop being so dirty?”

Ye Junqing said nothing, his deep gaze scanning the room, the vanity, her pink sheets, and the wardrobe.
Approaching the wardrobe, he discovered it was filled with her clothes. Was this really her room and Li Yu was sleeping in the guest room? It contradicted his previous assumptions.
But it didn’t matter. What was important was that she hadn’t betrayed him to share a bed with Li Yu as he had feared!
Some of the gloom clouding Ye Junqing’s mind began to dissipate, he fixed his dark gaze on her and asked, “Did you truthfully not sleep with Li Yu tonight?”
Enraged by his question, Ye Xingguang pointed at the door, “Get out, right now! If you distrust me so much, I don’t want to see you!”
Unmoved, Ye Junqing casually sat on the edge of the bed. His melancholy didn’t entirely vanish “I don’t trust you. The moment Li Yu left, you followed him. Did you think Li Yu is your husband, that you had to chase after him?”
Now even angrier, a fiery light flashed in Ye Xingguang’s eyes, “Who was chasing him? I returned home, traveling a long distance, all for you!”
