The two were silent for a moment, then Nolan suddenly asked, "Isabella, I haven't had the courage to ask you these past few days, but what do you think about teaching at Evergreen City University?"

That day she left suddenly, and there had been no news since.

He didn't know what had happened and didn't want to disturb her rashly.

Today was the perfect opportunity, and he didn't want to miss it again.

He knew Isabella had a great talent for music, and it would be a shame if she couldn't showcase it.

Isabella was mentally prepared, but hearing Nolan say this still made her feel guilty.

You can join me at Evergreen City University as a teacher. Nolan sighed, "Endlessly exploring music, isn't that what we hoped for back then?"

Isabella was silent.

In fact, she was swayed by Nolan's words.

The reason she became obsessed with the piano was entirely because, as a child, she watched Bianca sit by the piano, playing notes under the eager eyes of the teacher and parents.

It was just a simple string of notes, but Bianca was praised by everyone.

Isabella smiled bitterly. "Nolan, you invited me so warmly. How can I refuse?"

Since she lost contact with her teacher a few years ago, she hadn't touched the piano much.

Plus, after marrying Michael, she listened to him talk about how great Bianca's piano skills were every day, and she lost interest even more.

Hearing Isabella agree, Nolan's eyes lit up with excitement.

As long as she was willing, this matter would be a success. Her unique talent would surely amaze those kids.

Even though Isabella had never been a teacher, her resilience wouldn't let her easily give up on difficulties.

"Then it's settled. I'll discuss with the school and let you try a few classes first. If you find it suitable, you can continue teaching. No pressure." Nolan wanted Isabella to showcase her talent and rediscover her love for music, but he didn't want her to feel pressured, nor did he want public opinion to weigh on her.

Hearing that Nolan had planned everything for her, Isabella smiled. "Nolan, did you plan to bring me to the school all along, and that's why you're waiting for me here?"

Nolan's expression froze, his face slightly blushed, and he didn't answer.

Isabella immediately had her answer.

Nolan always accurately guessed her every thought.

Nolan didn't dwell on the topic, not wanting to reveal too much. "Isabella, since you agreed, why don't you come to the school with me later? Actually, I forgot to tell you, I've already applied to live in the school, not at home."

Isabella didn't mind, and after dinner, she could leave early. "Sure, you've planned it all, how can I not follow?"

But she didn't ask why Nolan moved to the school.

They were too familiar with each other, and some things didn't need to be said.

After speaking, Isabella glanced at the time and pushed the wheelchair behind Nolan. "It's getting late, we should go, don't keep Grandpa waiting."

She knew that Nolan, despite he said that, wouldn't really leave Aiden alone to face the guests.

"Alright, the sooner we go, the sooner we can leave," Nolan replied.

Just as they turned around, they bumped into Michael, who  stared at the two of them with a gloomy expression, his hand clenched tightly at his side.

"Leave early? Isabella, I didn't know you and Nolan had something urgent to attend to." Michael's words were full of sarcasm.

Isabella was his wife, and Nolan was his brother. Seeing them eager to leave together in front of him, what were they planning? A date or a private matter? Either way, he wouldn't allow it.

Isabella frowned, wanting to explain to Michael, but he was too angry to listen.

He approached her step by step, his eyes fixed on her, as if declaring his ownership. "Isabella, don't forget, you are my wife, not his. How long has it been since you parted at the door, and you can't wait to meet in such a secluded place."

Michael sneered at the two of them. "Of course, Nolan has been away for so many years, now that he's back, you can't wait to stick with him all the time?"

Isabella was eager to go to the front hall and didn't want to engage with Michael.

She raised her eyes slightly. "Michael, have you said enough? If you're done, move aside, don't block the way!"
